So I am going to start uploading the photos of the other day on here tonight. There will be 30 of them, so I am going to say sorry in advance for spamming anyone My bad. Haha.
But I plan to put them all in a folder or whatevs when I'm all done

I feel bad for not taking more photo's, or posting them on dA of late. But I have a whole heap that I am going to post in the follow hours, and days.

I did a photo shoot with some of my friends yesterday, and it was heaps of fun It's an idea that has been done a million times, but seeing as I'm still fairly new to this portraiture stuff, I should start with the basics. You will see what I'm talking about soon enough.

I have been editing for ages today, and trying to learn my way about Photoshop Elements. I miss CS3, but our old computer died, and with it CS3 did too. (It wasn't exactly...whats the word... legal? ) but Elements is good enough for me.

So anyway, this whole thing has been to put off doing some assignments, so I better go and get them done.

So I haven't been talking a lot on here lately, but I have been around

I also haven't been taking many photos (besides today)but I have been organizing a whole lot of things that are photography related.
For starters my month long exhibition at the local gallery is almost finished, but it went smashingly well Hehe. The opening was great, mainly because not everyone who was there was a person who I personally asked to come *proud*
Secondly, one of my mentors, a local and well known photographer, has a gallery opening in a few days which he has invited me to. It will be my first proper opening (besides my own) I will have been too, and plus the show seems really interesting.
He has also organized for some photographers who are touring with their exhibitions to come and have a chat with me, and to see my exhibition Yay for me!

So i haven't done much nature/landscape photography, but I have had a taste for Portraiture

This weekend I went to a friends house to help her with her art. The theme for our artwork was to be The Human Figure. She then developed the concept of the beauty on the inside. You can see the images in my galley. I am uploading them as I type this journal.

yes. I have been slack. I haven't posted anything for ages... ages and ages really.
Lots has happened in the last few months. Not much of it good but some of it excellent
Mainly I got the Grant I was going for yyaaayy. It made me so happy. Next year I will be able to get lots of stuff for my photography. Including a few new lenses wooo. And a editing program/s. But I'm unsure which one to get. Which one should I get? I'm thinking Photoshop CS4. Its meant to be good for editing RAW images, which I am hoping to start looking at soon enough.


OOOHHH!! I GOT A KITTEN! She is black and white and orange and has huge whiskers and is very very very cute. She is called Nala like off the Lion King Sometimes she is so cute i cant even speak.

But guess what?!

I GOT MY OWN EXHIBITION!! In a proper gallery and everything! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOooOoOoOo. SO so so happy right now.

Its not until Febuary and I'm meeting with the people in December, but its like a dream come true. Haha.

It's going to be in the local CRACA gallery (I don't remember what that stands for). When I went in there I explained about how I do photography at school and then she went and got her book and wrote me in. I shall be the first one next year weeee! I'm still looking around for one for this year, but so far no luck. But i have only asked 2 people. Hahaha.
